Working from Home in Bristol

The Work From Home trend continued well into the Q1 of 2022 as the latest (released Nov 2022) headline figures from the Office of Rail and Road suggest; passenger numbers entering and exiting from Bristol Temple Meads are at just 60% of pre-pandemic levels.

Before Lockdown 1 (in the year April 2019 to March 2020) some 11m entries and exits were estimated to have occurred at Bristol Temple Meads.

Over the same time-frame between 2021 and 2022 the figure was 6.6m.

Needless to say, that is huge increase from April 2020 to March 2021 which saw just 2m entries & exits as the country went into several terms of National and Regional Lockdowns.

What will be interesting is to see this year’s trend. No doubt it will be upwards, but we suspect still short of pre-pandemic levels as WFH looks set to continue…
